Power plant profile: Kabulasoke Solar PV Park, Uganda
The project is developed and owned by GL Africa Energy and Xsabo Group. The owners have 50% stake in the project respectively. Kabulasoke Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 130 acres. The electricitiy generated from the plant has offsetted 21,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

RIC Energy is building the project, named Nkonge, for The Xsabo Group, a Kampala-based German-Ugandan diversified consultancy.
