Smoky Creek & Guthrie''s Gap

Once complete it could generate up to 1,194,000 MWh per annum of renewable energy. Through a rigorous development application process, which included the involvement of specialist third parties and pre-lodgment and ongoing community consultation, the solar station was approved to generate 1,194,000 MWh per annum of clean, green power.

Nowingi

Currently in development phase, the project has the potential to generate up to 360 MWp of clean solar photovoltaic electricity and up to 300MW/2.4GWh of energy storage in the form of an integrated battery. During peak construction, which will likely take up to 18 months, approximately 250 new full time jobs will be created.

Our communities

We are in the community for a very long time and Edify is committed to supporting the communities in which we develop and operate renewable energy power plants. Our Smoky Creek solar power project, near Biloela sits in the Jambin Community. When the Jambin Hall Committee called for help in relocating the community post office, we stepped forward.

Home | Malta

Malta''s Thermo-Electric Energy Storage is cost-effective, grid-scale technology. It collects and stores energy for long durations to feed the growing power demands of our electricity-hungry world and enable reliable integration of renewable resources. Energy can be stored from any power generation source in any location.

THE NEED FOR ENERGY STORAGE

How the Malta System Works 1. Collects. Energy is collected from solar, wind, or the grid. 2. Converts. The electricity drives a heat pump, which converts electrical energy into thermal energy – both hot and cold. 3. Stores. The heat is stored in molten salt, and the cold is stored in antifreeze coolant. 4. Regenerates. The thermal energy is

Daydream

The project was developed and is managed by Edify. Origin Energy buys 100% of Daydream''s solar output. Built with a single-axis tracking system using approximately 1.5 million solar panels, Daydream Solar farm saves close to 500 million litres of

Muskerry

Developed by Edify, the project will stretch across approximately 500 hectares of predominantly grazed land. The power station, once complete, could generate up to 612,000 MWh per annum of renewable energy. Planning Application is complete, and planning permits approved for

Energy

In recent years, Malta has transformed its energy mix used for electricity generation from one based on heavy fuel oil and gasoil to a more sustainable combination of natural gas, electricity imports via the Malta-Italy subsea connection, and increased use of renewable energy sources.

Gannawarra

The Gannawarra Energy Storage System was developed by Edify Energy and is jointly owned by Edify and Gentari. The project is supported by both the Victorian Government and ARENA and features a first-of-a-kind commercial services agreement with EnergyAustralia, the off taker for the Gannawarra Solar Farm.

Darlington Point Energy Storage System

Edify Energy (Edify) has developed the Darlington Point Energy Storage System (DPESS) which is a 25MW / 50MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) system located adjacent to the 275MW Darlington Point Solar Farm in NSW. DPESS comprises advanced grid forming inverters with the ability to provide system

Malta

The expected rise in demand is anticipated to be brought about by shore-to-ship power projects, electrification of vehicles, and the economic recovery following the COVID-19 pandemic. Malta''s annual electricity consumption is the second lowest final energy consumption per capita across all EU Member States.

What we do

At Edify, we work across the entire energy project lifecycle, from development and financing through to construction and asset management. The result? An end-to-end long-term model that ensures exceptional delivery for our stakeholders.

Edify closes on 370MWh BESS to support Renewable Energy

Edify Energy has closed financing on a battery storage project which will support the hosting of solar and wind at a government-designated Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) in Victoria, Australia. The renewable energy developer announced today that it has raised project financing for the 185MW/370MWh Koorangie Energy Storage System (KESS) in Kerang

Australia''s pathway for a clean hydrogen future

Edify Energy. Townsville City Council formally approved the first development application over land within the Lansdown Eco-Industrial Precinct (46 kilometres south of Townsville) by Edify Energy. Edify Energy proposes to build and operate a renewable hydrogen production facility as well as a behind-the-meter solar photovoltaic and battery

Brewongle

The project will be developed by Edify, and once complete, could generate approximately 215,000 MWh per annum of renewable energy, powering around 36,000 homes and businesses. At peak construction, the project will employ around 250 people full time, recruiting local trades, workers and businesses as much as possible.
