Disconnect all wires that are attached to the Grid Gray Tach Output wire. Disconnect the alternator belt and run on battery only. If the power to Grid is not wired directly to the battery + / - terminals take #10 wire and do this. The battery is the very best insulator of interference. Grid power should NOT be wired anywhere else.
