Cyprus'' largest hospital embraces solar energy

Nicosia General Hospital, the largest healthcare facility in Cyprus, has made a significant investment in solar power. Since the summer of 2024, the hospital has installed over 2,000 solar panels, with a capacity of 1.3 MWp. This system is expected to meet 10% of the hospital''s energy needs, leading to annual savings of approximately €300,000.
